On Wednesday afternoon a bicycle carrying several passengers, commonly known as a pedicab, was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle. The cyclist, driving the pedicab was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. After the car hit the pedicab, the second pedicab ran into the first pedicab. A family of passengers were in both pedicabs, and the mother was taken to the hospital and is confirmed to be in serious condition. Her husband is okay, and their children, who are eight and five years old, have non-life-threatening injuries, stated ABC Seven News. This accident occured at Embarcadero and Sansome Street intersection.
