A family of three were involved in a crash on Highway 237 when the father driving passed out at the wheel. According to The Mercury News, “The driver, a 55-year-old man, apparently had suffered a diabetic attack and passed out around 10:45 a.m. Saturday as he was driving west on Highway 237.” The man’s son unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned over to steer the car. Although, the father’s foot continued to press on the gas pedal causing the Tesla to accelerate. The son could not steer on the curve in the road and lost control. The vehicle landed on the on-ramp. All three passengers suffered broken bones, from a broken back to a broken ankle. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers wish a speedy recovery to the family.
