A driver was rescued from his vehicle after colliding with a Valley Transportation Authority light-rail train in San Jose last night. The man was trapped so far into the train, it took emergency crews over two hours to extricate him from the train. Trauma surgeons were called to the rescue to help and sedate the driver in order to extricate him. The Captain of San Jose Fire Dept. told NBC Bay Area News, “No matter how much we pried and pulled away the metal and plastics, he was still stuck inside that train.” The cause of the accident has yet to be determined. Those on the train were not injured from the accident. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers have the man in our prayers in hopes for a speedy recovery.
