An Uber driver hit and killed a pedestrian on Tully Road near Senter Road on Tuesday night in San Jose. The Uber driver was on his way to pick up his passenger when he hit the pedestrian (man in his late 60’s). ABC 7 News reported, “Emergency crews responded to the scene just before 3:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Police say it appears the pedestrian wasn’t in a crosswalk.” Whereas, the driver proclaimed he was driving west when the pedestrian stepped out in front of his car. The road was closed for four hours to allow further investigation. The driver stayed at the scene to answer questioning. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the pedestrian.
