Last night, a man was killed after colliding with a semi-truck in Santa Barbara. The tragic accident occurred near Carrillo Street on Highway 101. The driver of the semi-truck survived the accident. He told authorities he had a blowout on a rear tire and slowed down to pull over on the shoulder. When doing so, he felt a left-rear impact. When he got out of the car to look he found a Prius resting against the guardrail. The Prius driver died on impact.

The freeway was closed for more than an hour for authorities to clean up and investigate the accident. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the Prius driver.
