A small airplane crashed into a storage container in Santa Paula over the weekend. Reports confirmed Ted Dopler and Jody Smith were the passengers and victims of the crash. The airplane was “homebuilt” and left Saturday from Rosamond Skypark Airport in Antelope Valley. Per ABC News, the aircraft crashed on a property in a wooded area in the 17800 block of South Mountain Road, just outside the city limits of Santa Paula. This airplane accident is under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA.
