On Thursday morning, a man was injured in a scooter crash near downtown San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened near the intersection of West Broadway and Pacific Highway at about 1:40 a.m. Very little information about this incident involving a motorized scooter has been released, but we do know that the scooter rider suffered serious injuries to his head, face and neck.

Initial reports indicate that he hit a bump on the sidewalk and lost control of the scooter. There has been no word on that person’s current condition. Thankfully, his injuries were not believed to be life threatening on the scene. This incident may still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
