On Tuesday night, two people on scooters were struck and injured by a trolley in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. in Sherman Heights, at 24th and Commercial Street. Very few details about this incident have been released, but initial reports indicate that a man and a woman were riding Bird scooters west between two sets of tracks, when a trolley came upon them.
They reportedly bumped into the side of one of the trolley cars. They were both transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
