Security Gate Traps Woman in Car
On Tuesday, an automated security gate trapped a motorist in her car for over an hour. According to ABC News Channel 10, the incident happened at Mission Valley condominium complex, in the 2000 block of Camino de la Reina. First responders had to carefully cut the gate off of the woman’s vehicle. The gate was on the hood and windshield of the car, and hydraulic rescue equipment was used during the response.
The motorist involved was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. Thankfully, her injuries were described as non-life threatening. Very few details have been released about this incident, and we don’t know how or why the gate lowered onto the woman’s car.
