Semi Truck Crash in El Cajon

Earlier this week, there was a semi-truck crash in El Cajon. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on the 1100 block of Vernan Way. Very few details about this truck crash have been released, but we do know that the tractor-trailer sheared a fire hydrant and hit a power pole. Initial reports indicate that over 500 customers in the area were without power after the crash.

Apparently, the truck driver took a turn too tightly, which caused the big rig to take out the fire hydrant and hit the power pole. Power lines were strewn about the roadway, and it took nearly all day before power was fully restored in the area. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported in this truck crash.
