Earlier this week, there was a semi truck crash in Oceanside. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened in the southbound lanes of I-5, just north or Harbor Drive, near Camp Pendleton. Very little information has been released about this tractor-trailer crash, but we do know that the big rig caught on fire. Initial reports indicate that the driver of a semi truck clipped the back tire of a truck that was parked on the shoulder.

The truck driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The big rig went down an embankment, struck a tree and overturned. The truck then caught fire, and witnesses pulled over to put the fire out with fire extinguishers. No information has been released on any injuries associated with this crash. This incident is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement authorities.
