On Wednesday morning, there was a semi truck crash on Highway 1 near Ragged Point. According to KSBY News Channel Six, the truck blocked a significant portion of the roadway. The disabled truck had traffic backed up from Ragged Point to just south of the Monterey County line. Crews had to close a portion of the highway for about three hours as they removed the wreckage.

Very little information has been released about this crash, but we do know that the truck’s rear tires left the roadway. There has been no word on whether or not anybody was injured in this truck crash. Additionally, there has been no information on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
