Semi Truck Hits Hydrant in Pacific Beach

Earlier this week, a semi-truck hit a fire hydrant in Pacific Beach. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened on the 2700 block of Garnet Avenue on Tuesday evening. Very little information has been released about this crash, but we do know that a geyser was shooting water into the air. Initial reports indicate that the driver did pull over to cooperate with authorities.

First responders with San Diego Fire-Rescue rushed to the scene to get the hydrant shut off. There was reportedly possible water damage to nearby businesses in the area. Currently, no information has been released on the cause of this truck crash, which may still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
