On September 17, a woman was injured in a single-car crash on Highway 154 in the Santa Ynez Valley. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened sometime before 12:30 p.m., just south of Highway 246. For currently unknown reasons, the vehicle crashed off of the side of the highway, and the driver was ejected.

A CalStar helicopter and other first responders rushed to the scene. Very few details about this crash have been released, but we do know that the driver, a 51-year-old woman, was airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. At this time, there has been no word on the cause of the crash, which is still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
