Stolen Amazon Delivery Truck Crash in Hollywood

Earlier this week, there was a crash involving a stolen Amazon delivery truck in Hollywood. According to KTLA News Channel Five, law enforcement officers were pursuing the stolen Amazon truck when it crashed near the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Wilton Place. Apparently, the truck was initially reported stolen on the 1800 block of Whitley Avenue. Police officers pursued it for about two miles before it crashed into a Toyota sedan.

The sedan sustained front-end damage and damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. An ambulance was called for the driver of the Toyota, but there has been no word on that person’s current condition or the full extent of injuries. Additionally, the driver of the stolen Amazon truck was detained on the scene. This incident could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
