Early Wednesday morning, a suspected drunk driver was arrested for driving his vehicle down trolley tracks in Old Town. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened near Taylor and Congress Streets, sometime after 12:00 a.m. Very little information has been released about this incident, but initial reports indicate that the vehicle got struck on the tracks.

Law enforcement officers were called to the scene, where they arrested the driver on suspicion of drunk driving. Trolley service in the area had to be shut down for nearly an hour. Crews were called to the scene to tow the vehicle off of the trolley tracks. Thankfully, no injuries or collisions were reported with this incident.
