On Friday night, a suspected drunk driver was arrested in San Diego. According to San Diego ABC News Channel 10, 52-year-old Simone Bahou led law enforcement officers on a high-speed chance on 94 Freeway. Although the apparently inebriated driver was behind the wheel at high speeds for nearly a half hour on Interstates 5 and 8, law enforcement officers were finally able to apprehend him with the help of a canine unit.

Officers found an open bottle of wine in his car, and initial reports indicate that he appeared to be extremely intoxicated at the time of the incident. Bahou was arrested on charges of felony evasion, resisting arrest and driving under the influence, and he was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital for the treatment of minor injuries. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported.
