SUV Crash Sends Five Teens to Hospital

An SUV crash in La Jolla sent five teenagers to the hospital last
weekend. The crash happened on the night of Saturday, October 26th. ABC Channel Ten News reports that 14 people ranging in ages from 13 to 17 years old were riding in a Ford Excursion at the time of the wreck. The SUV flipped along Muirlands Vista Way. The driver was said to be driving too fast for a turn when the vehicle flipped. The injuries sustained were listed as non-life-threatening.

Other than a mention of excessive speed for a turn, there is no word on the official cause of this wreck. Initial reports indicate that alcohol was not a factor. Additionally, there is no word on how many of these teenagers were wearing seatbelts.
