Teenagers Killed in Highway 101 Crash in Santa Barbara

A total of five people, including two teenagers, were killed in a crash that happened on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara early on Monday morning. Two Torrance High School students were on their way home from a concert on Sunday night, when the car they were riding in veered off the roadway and crashed into a guardrail. After the car flipped over and came to rest, it was struck by a 2013 Ford Mustang.

Two passengers were ejected from the Mustang, and the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The two ejected passengers died. The Mustang driver was treated for minor injuries. The teenagers, Danielle Murillo and Jessica Leffew along with another passenger, Brian Adonay Lopez, were killed in the crash.
