Last Thursday morning, there was a texting-while-driving crash in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on eastbound State Route 52, near Mast Boulevard, at about 1:30 a.m. Very little information has been released about this distracted driving crash, but we do know that a driver was reportedly texting somebody while driving when his vehicle hit the back of a fire truck.

Initial reports indicate that his vehicle caught on fire. Thankfully, the firefighters on the scene were able to put the fire out pretty quickly and check the driver for injuries. No serious injuries were reported on the scene, but the vehicle and the fire truck did sustain damage in the collision.
