Three Injured in San Luis Obispo Crash off LOVR and Foothill

Last night, 22-year-old Alejandra Castro collided with another vehicle causing major injuries in a head-on collision. The accident occurred at the intersection of Los Osos Valley Road and Foothill Boulevard in San Luis Obispo, CA.

CHP responded to the scene of the incident which is still under investigation but based on initial evidence, believes alcohol was a factor in the crash.

The two people were trapped inside their vehicle following the accident and needed to be extricated. A total of three people were transported to the hospital, one with major head injuries.

Area drivers were told to expect major delays and use an alternate route if possible. Since the time of the incident, authorities and emergency personnel have cleared debris from the roadway completed their cleanup of the scene.
