A bus collided with an SUV Monday in Santa Maria. Three Santa Maria-Bonita School District students were injured after a school bus collided with a SUV, of which, reportedly ran a red light. The incident occurred on Battles Road and Blosser Road intersection at 8:30 a.m. The three students were taken to Marian Medical Center with minor injuries. According to Noozhawk, both the SUV and the bus were traveling 30-35 mph which are in fact under the speed limit. According to authorities, the bus was not at full capacity, however, the bus driver and a student aid admitted to feeling pain after the accident. The incident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol. Thankfully, there were not any life-threatening injuries in this accident.
