Over the weekend, three pedestrians were struck and injured in downtown Santa Barbara. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened at Anacapa and Anapamu Streets at about 9:30 a.m. Very little information has been released about this collision, but initial reports indicate that the pedestrians were struck when they were attempting to cross Anapamu Street. The southbound vehicle was reportedly on the one-way Anacapa Street and made a left turn onto Anapamu Street.

At least one of those pedestrians was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of injuries. No information has been released on whether or not the driver involved is facing any citations or charges, and this incident could still be under investigation with the Santa Barbara Police Department.
