Toddler Struck by Hit-And-Run Driver

On Sunday afternoon, a hit-and-run driver in Mira Mesa struck and injured a toddler. According to NBC San Diego Channel Seven News, the incident happened at about 1:22 p.m. near the Mesa Viking Neighborhood Park on Westonhill Drive. Although very few details about the collision have been released, we do know that the two-year-old child was rushed to Rady Children’s Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

This park is popular location for families and children in the area. At this time, the incident is still under investigation by law enforcement authorities. The suspect’s car was described as an older model, teal Honda Accord.
