A male tow truck driver was killed in an accident, caused by an on-coming vehicle in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 in Sausalito. The driver of the tow truck pulled over to help a Toyota Prius on the southbound right-hand shoulder of the freeway. According to NBC Bay Area News, the tow truck driver worked on the Prius, the driver of a silver Chevrolet Silverado lost control of his truck and crashed into the Prius, which then struck the tow truck and tow truck driver. The tow truck driver was confirmed dead. The driver inside of the Silverado sustained minor injuries and the Prius driver walked away unscathed.
