On Wednesday, there was a tractor-trailer crash on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the wreck happened north of the Garden Street off ramp, sometime before 5:00 a.m. Very few details have been released about this crash, but we do know that a semi truck hauling Pods storage containers apparently ran off of the roadway.

A portion of Highway 101 had to be closed as first responders and crews worked the scene. No information has been released on whether or not anybody was injured in this crash, but approximately 75 gallons of diesel fuel was spilled. Additionally, there has been no word on the cause of this truck crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officers.
