On Friday morning, a woman in her vehicle was struck by an Amtrak train in Dixon, California. The accident occurred at the Union Pacific Railroad tracks near the Pitt School. According to The Reporter News, The woman, later identified as Rita Biagas, was alone in the car at the time of the accident, Dixon fire officials said. Her car traveled about 200 feet after being struck by the train and was subsequently engulfed in flames. There weren’t any reported injuries from any passengers on the train.
