Two cars collided in Poway on Wednesday morning causing a small fire. The accident occurred on the Midland Road and Hilleary Place intersection around 10:00 a.m. According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, a Toyota Camry whose driver was participating in a Department of Motor Vehicles test being struck by a Jeep as the Camry turned left onto Hilleary Place. The driver of the Camry was a DMV student, taking a driving test with a DMV employee who was riding passenger. The passenger side of the Camry was hit, and the DMV employee was taken to the hospital for the treatment of her injuries. The current condition of both the student driver and the Jeep driver have yet to be announced. Although, a nearby resident helped put out the fire.
