Two Elderly Pedestrians Injured in Santa Barbara

On Monday morning, two elderly pedestrians were struck and injured in the Turnpike Shopping Center parking lot. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened at about 11:30 a.m., when the women were walking across the parking lot. Apparently, another elderly driver backed into them.

One of the women suffered from minor injuries, and the other one suffered from moderate injuries. They were swiftly taken to the hospital for treatment, but there’s no word on their current conditions. Additionally, there’s no word on whether or not any citations were given or how this incident could have happened.
