Two young children were struck by a vehicle around 3:30 p.m. in north Santa Maria. The driver remained at the scene for questioning from authorities. The children sustained moderate injuries, however are expected to be okay. According Noozhawk, the crash was not the fault of the pedestrians and appeared to have been caused by driver inattention.
