Early Saturday morning, two people were killed in a crash on Highway 118 in Simi Valley. The accident occurred at 4:10 a.m. According to The Ventura County Star, The 24-year-old Moorpark man was driving a silver Acura west at a high speed on Highway 118 west of Stearns Street when his vehicle hit the back of a black Toyota Camry. The Acura then overturned. A witness drove by the accident and pulled over to help the man in the overturned Acura. At this time, a white Ford Fusion crashed into the overturned vehicle and struck both men causing their deaths. The man in the Ford Fusion suffered minor injuries from the impact.
