Two Motorcycle Riders Injured on Highway 166

Over the weekend, two motorcycle riders were seriously injured in a crash on Highway 166 near Santa Maria. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the crash happened near Cottonwood Canyon at about 7:15 a.m. on Saturday morning. Very little information has been released about this incident, but we do know that two motorcycles and another vehicle were involved.

Both riders sustained major injuries in the crash, and one of them had to be airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment. The other one was transported to Marion Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria. At this time, there has been no word on their current conditions. Additionally, no information has been released on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
