Two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle in Mira Mesa this morning. Around 6:00 a.m. a 26-year-old driver hit two victims in the crosswalk at Mira Mesa Boulevard and Marbury Avenue. The 26-year-old driver did stay at the scene of the crime to cooperate with the authorities. Fox Five San Diego did confirm that the woman died at the scene. The man suffered a broken femur and serious head injury. The surrounding lanes were closed and blocked off for a few hours after the tragedy.
