Two-Vehicle Injury Crash on Highway 101

Last week, there was a two-vehicle injury crash on Highway 101. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened sometime before 6:00 p.m. on Saturday evening, just south of Orcutt. Very little information has been released about this crash, but we do know that the front of one vehicle reportedly hit the side of another vehicle at an intersection on 101. Initial reports indicate that roadways were slick with rain at the time of the crash, although there has been no definitive word on whether or not weather conditions were a factor in this wreck.

At least two people were injured in this crash. Their injuries were described as moderate to major, but there has been no word on their current conditions. The cause of this crash is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
