Two students from the University of California Santa Barbara were driving along Highway 41 in Lemoore when they saw a pickup truck flip over and submerge into water. The girls drove towards to truck and proceeded to save the three men who were trapped inside the car. The Tribune stated, that six to seven other witnesses pulled over and jumped into the water to help flip over the truck. The women pulled out the two passengers and then worked together to rescue the driver who was “pinned” inside the truck. The men survived and suffer minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital. Thankfully, the two women saw the truck and saved these men.
