Over the weekend, a vehicle crashed into a home in Santa Ynez. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened on the 3300 block of Sagunto Street. Very little information has been released about this wreck, but we do know that the vehicle went airborne prior to crashing into the house. Initial reports indicate that it went about 150 feet in the air before hitting the Santa Ynez home.

There was one person inside of the house at the time of the crash. Thankfully, that person was not seriously injured in the crash. The driver involved was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. The home was evaluated and deemed unstable, so occupants were not permitted to go back inside. At this time, no information has been released on whether or not the driver is facing any citations or charges.
