On Saturday in San Diego, a vehicle flew off the Coronado Bay Bridge into a crowd of people at Chicano Park. The driver of the vehicle is 24 years old and is currently enlisted in the Navy. NBC San Diego confirmed, “At least four people were killed and several others were injured Saturday when a truck traveling on the Coronado Bay Bridge in San Diego veered off the road and flew 60 feet off the bridge, landing on a crowd gathered at a park below.” The driver was arrested for DUI and manslaughter and remains in the hospital for his injuries. Of the eight injured people, one suffered major injuries and the others suffered minor injuries.
