Vehicle Hits Parked Car in Pacific Beach

Over the weekend, a vehicle nearly hit a pedestrian before hitting a parked car in Pacific Beach. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened near the intersection of Riviera Drive and Graham Street, sometime after 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Very little information has been released about this collision, but there is surveillance footage of the event. The footage shows the car swerving from side to side before missing a pedestrian and sideswiping a parked car.

Initially, the driver fled the scene. That person has since come forward, and a police report has been made. According to the driver, his vehicle had low air in the back tire at the time of the crash, but that has yet to be substantiated. Thankfully, nobody was injured in this crash. There was property damage to the parked vehicle though.
