On Tuesday morning, an SUV crashed into an apartment complex in Chula Vista. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened at an apartment building in the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue. The vehicle crashed into a children’s bedroom. There were two brothers sleeping in bunk beds at the time of the crash. One of the boys was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

A building inspector was called to the scene, and the Red Cross was on hand to offer assistance to the displaced family. The driver involved said her gas pedal somehow got stuck. At this time, there has been no word on whether or not any citations have been issued, and this incident could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
