On Sunday afternoon, a car collided with a VTA train in San Jose. The accident occurred outside of Hapa’s Brewery on Lincoln Avenue. Security footage from the brewery caught the accident on camera. The train was headed north, carrying 20 passengers, when the car collided directly into the side of the train. The train dragged the car until the train derailed from the tracks. Preliminary investigations confirm the crossing arms were active and down at the time of the crash, ABC Seven News. The driver of the car and his passenger died at the scene of the accident.
