Last month in San Francisco, a vehicle on a tow truck came unhitched and killed a woman who was working in the direct path. The woman, Lilianna Preciado, was working in a ditch amongst other city workers, and was not able to get out of the way of the car. New reports have been announced from the NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit stating the tow truck’s permit was suspended two months prior. The tow truck company, Irvine Auto Towing, has been cited by CHP for driving unregistered trucks, towing cars without safety restraints, and hiring drivers who did not have a valid driver’s license, NBC Bay Area. Also confirmed, the company worked under different names in the Bay Area, allowing them to stay under the radar. Whereas, in Southern California, they were cited for many penalties.

The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Lilianna Preciado.
