A female pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 101 in San Jose after getting into a crash minutes before. The woman, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by her husband. They collided with the concrete wall as they were nearing the end of the transition ramp from southbound Highway 101 to Northbound 680 just after 6 a.m. Sunday, according to KRON 4 News.

The woman did not want to wait for a tow truck and decided to walk off the freeway. While doing so, she was struck by two oncoming vehicles. The drivers were visually impaired by the heavy rain and darkness.
