A pickup truck and a cargo truck collided near Salinas and a young boy was ejected from his seat. Per The Monterey Herald, An F-150 began crossing both northbound lanes of Highway 101 to make a left turn, both vehicles collided.  A three-year-old boy was ejected from the pickup truck upon colliding. The young boy was not properly restrained in the pickup truck, and he landed on the southbound lane of Highway 101. The boy was airlifted to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for immediate treatment. He is said to be in stable condition and will fully recover from this accident. The accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
