On Sunday morning, an Amazon tractor-trailor truck went off the roadway on southbound Interstate 805. The incident happened around 6:30 am south of La Jolla Village Drive, according to FOX 5 San Diego. The driver somehow lost control of the vehicle and veered into the dirt before reentering the highway, eventually coming to a stop facing oncoming traffic. Both front tires were flat as a result of the crash.

As of 6:58 am, the truck was blocking at least three lanes of southbound traffic on I-805. Motorists merged into the far left lane of the highway to avoid the scene. All lanes were reopened a few hours later. No other vehicles appeared to be involved in the crash.
