Earlier this week, a car crashed into a store in the Southcrest area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened in the early morning hours on Thursday on the 1400 block of South 43rd Street. Apparently, a vehicle exited Interstate 805 and went through an intersection at a high rate of speed. The vehicle then went into a parking lot, hit some signs and bushes and crashed into the Northgate Market building.

First responders rushed to the scene, where the driver was able to extricate himself from the wreckage. Thankfully, only minor injuries were reported on the scene. At this time, there has been no word on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
