CHP Motorcycle Officer Crashes on 605 in Norwalk
Over the weekend, a California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer was injured after getting into a crash on his motorcycle on the 605 Freeway in Norwalk. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened sometime before 1:40 p.m., just south of Rosecrans Avenue. At this time, there has been no word on the cause of the motorcycle crash, but we do know that a Sig Alert was issued for the carpool, number one and number two lanes for at least two hours.
First responders rushed to the scene, and the injured motorcycle officer had to be transported to a local hospital for treatment. Although very few details have been issued about this crash, the officer did appear to be standing up after the crash. This motorcycle wreck is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
