Over the weekend, there was a deadly hit-and-run crash in the Jefferson Park area of Los Angeles. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened on Sunday morning at about 1:00 a.m. near the intersection of West Adams Boulevard and Arlington Avenue.  

Apparently, a vehicle was headed eastbound on Adams Boulevard when it collided with a southbound vehicle on Arlington Avenue. The driver of the first vehicle, as well as a passenger, reportedly fled the scene on foot. The driver in the vehicle they hit was pronounced dead on the scene, and a passenger was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. At the time of the news report, authorities were still trying to locate the driver and passenger that were in the hit-and-run vehicle.
