On Wednesday afternoon, the driver of a Ford utility truck was pinned between two semi-trucks after a collision on Highway 99 in Fresno. According to Your Central Valley, officers responded to the incident around 4:10 pm, northbound of Highway 99 and Highway 41. A semi-truck was driving in front of the Ford, and both vehicles were stopped due to heavy traffic. At the same time, another semi directly behind the Ford failed to stop, hitting the rear of the Ford and pushing it into the other semi.

The Ford driver sustained major injuries and was taken to a local hospital after being extricated from the wreckage. At the time of the report, the cause of the crash remained under investigation.
