Over the weekend, a woman was injured in an E-scooter crash in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened in the Core- Columbia District on Saturday night. Initial reports indicate that the collision happened near 11th Avenue and E Street. For currently unknown reasons, a scooter rider entered the intersection at 11th Avenue and E street and collided with an Uber driver.  

First responders rushed to the scene, where the scooter rider had to be transported to a local hospital. She sustained an open fracture to her left tibia and fibula. Thankfully, those injuries were not described as life threatening at the time of the news report, although there has been no word on her current condition. This e-scooter crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
