Earlier this week, there was an injury crash involving an electric bike in Sorrento Valley. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Wednesday night at about 9:00 p.m. Initial reports indicate that the e-bike was headed eastbound on the 5700 block of Pacific Center Boulevard, when it crashed into a parked pickup truck.   

Although very few details about the e-bike crash have been released, the pickup truck was reportedly parked legally in the parking lane. Thankfully, the e-bike rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. That being said, he did sustain significant injuries including facial injuries and an open fracture on his left arm. This e-bike wreck may still be under investigation with local authorities.
